Seventh Lisbon Architecture Triennale

Lighter: Open lecture with Prof. Filipa Roseta, FA.ULisboa

02 Dec - 15:00 · [Students and general public]

In partnership with the Architecture degree at the Faculty of Architecture of Lisbon (FA.ULisboa), the Triennale is organising a series of three open lectures. Each lecture is dedicated to one of the central exhibitions of 'How Heavy is a City?'. Each session will be led by a lecturer whose field of research relates directly to the respective theme.

Filipa Roseta, architect, lecturer and researcher working in housing, urban regeneration and sustainability, offers an integrated vision of architecture, territory and urban policies. Her experience in housing models and low-impact solutions is directly aligned with the objectives of the Lighter exhibition. This session focuses on approaches that seek to ‘lighten’ the urban burden — environmental, social and material — through sustainable practices, new housing policies and more balanced forms of cohabitation.

Topics:
Architectural strategies with low environmental impact
Housing, urban policies and sustainable cohabitation
Lighter materials, systems and processes
Urban resilience and new ways of living in the city
