Seventh Lisbon Architecture Triennale

Maria Neto, Pedro Leão Neto and Jorge Marum, architects and researchers at the Architecture, Art and Image group (AAI/CEAU/FAUP), submitted to the Millennium bcp Lisbon Triennial Universities Competition the research project The Weight of Words: The City de Juris and the City de Facto, which was selected to be part of the Spectres exhibition and awarded the Universities Prize in the Research category.

Maria Neto holds postgraduate studies in the Development of Human Settlements in the Third World, professional training in Humanitarian Shelter Coordination, and a doctoral thesis focusing on refugee camps in protracted situations and humanitarian action.

Pedro Leão Neto has post-doctoral research on the Mapping of Documentary and Artistic Photography. He is Assistant Professor at FAUP where he leads the AAI group.

Jorge Marum has a Masters in GIS, a PhD on the Conception and Representation in Architectural Design and postgraduate studies in Photography and Urban Cultures. He is Assistant Professor at the University of Beira Interior.
