Seventh Lisbon Architecture Triennale

Workshop - Imaginable City with Colectivo Warehouse, 11th session

26 Nov - 18:30 · [Students]

The Triennale is adapting a game designed to facilitate participatory urban design processes for the context of Lisbon. This 'deck of cards', called Imaginable City, is a glossary of urban design for Lisbon. It is being developed through crowdsourcing and meetings at the Sinel de Cordes Palace. During these sessions, we test the game in roleplay, talk to invited individuals and groups, discuss how to approach the theme 'How heavy is a city?' in the context of this glossary, peer review the adapted cards, and build a prototype.

Plan of the session:

- Conversion with Colectivo Warehouse, featuring co-founder Rúben Teodoro, which develops participatory architecture projects in the cultural and social scope. These processes lead to results with greater impact in the emerging urban landscape. Warehouse seeks to contribute to the collective and responsible construction of the public and private space. We understand the role of the architect as a mediator, aware of the impact that urban space activation initiatives and social interventions have with the communities that inhabit the city.
