Seventh Lisbon Architecture Triennale

Portraying planet Earth as a conceptual whole that exceeds an individual’s experience of their perceivable surroundings (as studied by Western science), requires a complex and comprehensive socio-technological infrastructure. Phenomena like climate change, the anthropogenic footprint on the environment, or even the traditional cadastral systems, come into existence only through some of the knowledge cultures discussed above, and the constantly evolving vast machine of planetary-scale computational infrastructure.
