Seventh Lisbon Architecture Triennale

Measurements actively shape cities rather than passively recording them. Through quantification, data collection, and mapping, measurements influence urban planning, policy decisions, and residents' perceptions. This process transforms the city's identity, infrastructure, and governance, illustrating that measurement is an agent of change, not mere observation.

Quantifying the Urban Team

Quantifying the Urban Team

The Circular Construction, Certification, and Conscious Design elective unit raises students' awareness of the environmental and social impacts of buildings. Led by Clara Vale and Diego Inglez de Souza, with guest speaker contributions, students explore themes like circular economy, material origins, and life cycle analysis. They develop critical thinking and analytical skills essential for future architectural practice.

Clara Vale, Associate Professor, with assistant reseacher Diego Inglez de Souza, and students Clara Sprung, Matilde Ferreira, Sofia Saldanha, Ricardo Mancini.
