Yasmeen Lari, Pakistan's first female architect, has used design as a tool to combat pollution and social injustice, as well as to promote gender equality and women's empowerment. “Climate change is a sad reality for everyone. The Global North must take responsibility for its excessive consumption of resources,” she said. "To women, I say: let's not give up; let's show that we can do it. Because yes, we can do it.”
