We, Shivani and Revati, are curious about architecture as being a 'collective social process'. 'ReSa' was formed in 2020 to create space to address this curiosity. To sensitively place and position ourselves within complex constellations of social and ecological dynamics of site, we draw methods of seeing and framing the site from the field of theatre. Theatre creates nuanced ways of travelling between the 'I' and the 'you’ developing a sensitive edge to where architecture meets society as a collective artistic praxis. We undertake both built projects and artistic research projects to test, write, think, perform, debate and disseminate to develop alternative forms of architectural practice rooted in communities and connected to the land.
