Since its first edition, the Lisbon Trienniale has invited universities to be part of its great forum. From 2022, the Trienniale has included research projects in its exhibitions, and the proposals will be integrated into the central exhibitions designed by the curators. The selection is the result of an international open call to respond to the challenge proposed by the curators, Ann-Sofi Rönnskog and John Palmesino of Territorial Agency: Make it Lighter.
The Lisbon Triennale Millennium bcp Universities Award has two categories: Master’s programmes and research centres. This edition received submissions from 18 universities across three continents. International in scope, the selected proposals enrich the themes addressed by the central exhibitions of the Triennale 2025.
