Wednesday at 6 p.m., Yara Sharif and Nasser Golzari will ask a series of uncomfortable questions at their conference at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon as part of the Lisbon Architecture Triennale. The theme of the 7th edition is ‘How heavy is a city?’ (The session costs €24 to attend, or €60 for a three-day pass). What should be done with the ruins of the Gaza Strip? How can we challenge the media's portrayal of an indistinct pile of rubble as empty? How can we view these places where the distinction between indoors and outdoors has been obscured, with the ruins concealing household artefacts and the remains of those who perished and were never recovered?"
