Seventh Lisbon Architecture Triennale

The organization of a city is connected to information about resources, their availability and the set of preferences at hand. The term originated around the late 60’s when Italian intellectual- industrialist Aurelio Peccei established the Club of Rome. He deliberately chose to call it a "non-organization" (or "non-organizzazione" in Italian) to distinguish it from traditional institutional structures that he believed were inadequate for addressing complex planetary challenges of current society.
