Seventh Lisbon Architecture Triennale

Neobiota, or non-native species, often spread due to human activities. The technosphere accelerates this process by changing climate, altering habitats, making new regions suitable for these species. As temperatures rise and ecosystems shift, species migrate to survive, sometimes becoming invasive. This redistribution disrupts local biodiversity, alters food webs, and challenges conservation efforts. The technosphere and biosphere dynamic interrelation pushes life into unprecedented territories.

dorsa

dorsa is a collaborative architecture practice. We seek to capture multiple and parallel realities concealed within our time. We employ whichever media necessary to create optimistic narratives for an empathic future.

Yufei He, James Horkulak, and Pan Hu studied architecture at ETH Zurich and co-founded the collaborative architecture collective dorsa in 2021. Their practice explores the invisible and imbalanced spatial orders embedded in the built environments and everyday life. dorsa is actively involved in teaching at ETH Zurich and has presented their work widely, including Architekturwoche Basel, Archizoom at EPFL Lausanne, Milan Design Week, Architecture Festival Budapest, Today Art Museum Beijing and Fosun Foundation Shanghai.
